Welcome! My name’s Chriss (she/her/they/them) and I’m an audio professional based in Karlsruhe, Germany. I’ve started my musical journey playing in a couple bands, ranging from solo piano stuff over rock covers and jazz to a big band, and then decided to become a professional. I graduated the ArtEZ conversatorium studies MediaMusic in 2019 before I moved on to work in various roles.
I love writing and producing music. Be it with my lo-fi organ punk duo Dagmar und der Organismus, as solo electronic act 43hz, or as writer/producer for hire.
I also work as a live sound engineer, both as a house tech (shoutout to my favourite places, Tollhaus Karlsruhe and EDP Köln!) as well as with touring acts, such as Fortuna Ehrenfeld, RABEA, TILAR and others.
From time to time, I also do some educational jobs. These include teaching kids at school Sonic Pi, and my work for HOFA, the online school for audio engineering where I teach all things sound design and live sound.
