Hi, I’m Chriss!

Hey there! My name is Chriss (she/her/they/them) and I am looking for new audio remote gigs. That’s why I will focus on my work in the areas of music, speech and video on this portfolio page.

While finishing my MediaMusic studies in Enschede, the Netherlands, I was working for movie composers Dürbeck & Dohmen. I was tasked with various tasks, such as creating arrangements for a TV drama (Die Füchsin – Spur in die Vergangenheit) and writing and producing music for a radio play (Kommando Gleichstrom, by Veit König).

In the years following my studies, I have been mainly working as a live audio engineer. I was on tour as FoH with Fortuna Ehrenfeld, and started working as local tech at Tollhaus Karlsruhe, additional to my freelance work.

I created lots of video content for HOFA-College, some of it including music that I wrote. For them, I also created a distance learning programma about podcasting, and conducted a couple of interviews . I also handled most of the translations into English.

I wrote music for a couple of artists, including Dagmar Schönleber, Romy Hausmann and Martin Bechler.

I recorded and edited a radio play published by Kanon.

As a sounddesigner, I mostly worked on Kontakt instruments (by Cinematique Instruments and Sonuscore), but I also worked on two games – doing foley/field recordings, editing and mixing.

And as one last thing, I of course also release my own music as 43hz.
