My new single “I Should Fold” releases on streaming next week – and you can already grab it on bandcamp.

Needless to say, this is a very personal song. It is a song about giving in. Giving in to those thoughts that have been there for years, that come back to haunt you every night you try to sleep, but you’re like “I can’t deal with this right now”. They’re still there in the morning, but “I can’t deal with this right now”.

Even when other people talk to you because they sense those thoughts inside of you, you push them aside. “No, it’s not that important to me, it’s a way of expressing something but not necessarily myself, I just like to dress and behave a certain way”.

The last ten years I’ve tried to figure out how to be a functioning adult first, without figuring out who I want to be or what I want to do. It has left me kind of empty, and since giving in to these thoughts, my world has been so much better.

Give in to those thoughts. Fold.
This is the first song I wrote and sang since I got on HRT. And I think it’s the most personal thing I ever made. And there will be more. ♥️
